Part of the Marlboro Mountains, Shaupeneak Ridge is nestled alongside the Hudson river and is one of the jewels in the gem-studded crown of Scenic Hudson, the nonprofit organization formed in the early 1960s with the simple yet vital mission of protecting important lands in the Hudson Valley.
