Jeffrey Feldman knew he wanted to do something big for his law firm’s 30th anniversary. Some companies might throw a lavish party to commemorate 30 years in business, but Feldman took a different direction.
“When my late business partner, Paul Kleidman, and I founded this firm in 1986, we began to give back to the local community and to be actively involved in organizations that did the same,” said Feldman. “It was important that we find a way to pay tribute to our 30 years of success and to leave a lasting mark in the Hudson Valley.”
And leave a mark, they did.
Feldman, Kleidman, Coffey, Sappe & Regenbaum (FKCS&R) launched the 30 Acts of Kindness giving campaign, designed to make charitable donations to 30 local organizations in addition to the other nonprofits the firm supports every year. Feldman gathered his staff and, together, they drew up a list of recipients.
“We were able to honor our team’s contributions to the firm by involving them in the selection process,” said Feldman. “Everyone has a cause that is near and dear to them.”
To kick off the campaign, FKCS&R donated to Family Services, a Dutchess County nonprofit that provides programs and services to youth as well as crime and domestic-violence victims, and also to Astor Services for Children and Families to provide holiday gifts, clothing and other essentials to underprivileged children.
